Results Viewing & Sign-off

Clinicians can use the Clinical Portal to find historic results, sign off new results electronically, view a cumulative display to assess trending over time and represent this trending graphically with the charting tool.

Results can be configured to communicate with any Laboratory Information System (LIS) or Radiology Information System (RIS) that supports JDBC/ODBC access to a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). Through the use of the JDBC/HL7 Bridge, the product can also be configured to communicate with any LIS or RIS that supports a standard HL7 query interface. The product can also be configured to communicate with the LIS independently of the RIS if required.

Results is deployed seamlessly within Orion Health's Clinical Portal, which provides functionality for searching and identifying a patient using the generic search and the CDV tree for that purpose.
