Patient Portal
Today with so much information being stored electronically and healthcare organizations learning more about the benefits of making patient information accessible to the patient and the patient care team, Patient Portal solutions are being implemented by healthcare orgainzations more and more.

Orion Health’s Patient Portal is a web-based software product designed to enable patients and their care team to improve the way they are communicating. Patient Portal provides a private secure access to allow the patient and care team to view, send and reply to messages, view appointments, share files, enable email notifications and reminders and provide access to a Health Library.

Patient Portal is able to be integrate with existing software including, but not limited to, user directories, video conferencing, data repositories, and or patient and provider indexes.

The Patient Portal includes separate views for the various parties that would have access to the patient portal:
  • Patients and their representatives: Features include view and send new messages, view appointments, view shared files such as video and audio sessions, and access a Health Library.
  • Healthcare Providers: Features include send and receive messages to and from associated patients and other providers in the circle of care, view the list of your patients and their information, schedule appointments and video conferences with these patients, share and receive files from patient to provider, review health information relating to these patients’ rehabilitation, and play back video conferences.
  • Administrator View: Features include register a new patient and/or provider, add a provider to patient’s care team, create an appointment for patient and/or provider, create new categories and tags for the Health Library, and add new content to the Health Library and edit the content.
