Orion Systems, Updates Name to Orion Health, in Response to Delivering Industry-Specific Solutions and Broadening Worldwide Presence

Focus on its commitment to the Healthcare sector, rapid growth, and customer successes drive company expansion

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - April 3, 2006 - Orion Systems International, a provider of applications and tools that integrate and enhance existing healthcare information systems, today formally announced its new company name, Orion Health.

Reflecting the ongoing commitment to delivering innovative solutions designed to aid the healthcare industry, and underscoring the increased focus on delivering sector-specific solutions and customer support, the new name will go into effect immediately. The re-brand is being undertaken with the full participation and support of Orion Health offices located in six countries worldwide.

Increased Presence in North America, Europe and Asia
As a reflection of strong growth in the North American market and the 53 percent increase in North American employees, Orion Health today opened its doors to its first-ever U.S. headquarters, located in Santa Monica, California. The office includes sales, marketing, and customer service that will focus on three significant RHIO projects underway in the United States and Canada, deploying a phased implementation strategy to ensure each project's success.

With implementations of Orion Health solutions also increasing across Europe and Asia, new offices have been established in the United Kingdom and Spain; and a physical presence in Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea are being considered.

New Appointments Include Industry Veterans
Orion Health has recently appointed two industry veterans to management positions within the company. As a result, customers worldwide will benefit from their in-depth understanding of the healthcare information technology market from their combined 14 years in the industry.

Art Ramos has been named services manager of the Orion Health Rhapsody solution, an integration engine that coordinates and streamlines the exchange of messages between multiple healthcare applications, databases and systems, in any format, across virtually any platform. Formerly, Ramos served as product architect with Sun Microsystems/SeeBeyond.

Similarly, Nancy Wilson-Ramon, has been named services manager, for the Concerto solution, a medical applications portal that is placed over multiple information systems to provide a single, seamless view of a patient's data. She has been recognized as an industry leader who is active in HL7 leadership.
