Orion Health hits top spot as NZ’s leading software exporter
Auckland, 23 May 2008 - Orion Health, a leading provider of integration and clinical workflow technology to the health sector, today reported $53m (NZD) consolidated gross revenue for the 2007/2008 financial year placing them in top position as the largest New Zealand owned software exporter.

“We have been enjoying some great successes internationally and this is another significant milestone for the company. It further cements Orion Health’s confident expansion into North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia” said Ian McCrae, Orion Health CEO.

Earlier this year the company signed contracts with its first customer in South Africa, and two customers in the Middle East. Other successes include signing ACT Health in Australia and a preferred solution agreement with Canadian Health Infoway.

To fuel its continued expansion, Orion Health is on an aggressive recruitment drive. Ian McCrae says the company is looking for over 40 staff members from graduates to senior positions in product development, testing and implementation consultants for opportunities here and overseas.

Ian McCrae said the company offered good opportunities as a high growth company, as well as some pretty interesting international postings to the right people.

Orion Health’s revenues put it ahead of former front runner, Jade Software based in Christchurch.
