Software Update Announcement

Rhapsody(TM) 3.4 Released

Rhapsody 3.4, released in early November, is a significant software update that provides greater monitoring and reporting capabilities and simplified access to messages.

Performance reports can now be generated to calculate the processing and response times for messages - from within the Rhapsody engine and from external systems.

Access to messages has been made easier and more flexible with a new searching interface and simplified results summary. The ability to add custom columns to search results and browse through search results, enables users to locate specific messages faster.

Changes that have been made to the Rhapsody 3.4 user model introduce greater flexibility over access to specific web console tasks. A new password policy allows for the enforcement of password complexities and expiration (both features optional).

The web management console has also been updated with AJAX technology that allows information updates without a full page refresh.
Other new features include:

  • FIFO changes
  • Character display / encoding features
  • Message Breakdown Reports
  • Management Console (pre-login) Information Pages and Banners
  • Configuration Folder Copy

Adventure Racing Team OrionHealth.com Compete In World Championships, Portugal

Our world champion adventure racing team, OrionHealth.com, led by New Zealand Sales Director Wayne Oxenham have competed once again for the prestigious title of Adventure Racing World Champions. Defending their title from the 2008 race in Brazil the all Kiwi quartet, including Wayne, Stuart, Brent and Anna, competed against nearly 60 teams, racing virtually non-stop for 6 days (120 hours) over 900km of terrain.

The race started Sunday, November 8th in Cascais and finished on Friday, November 13th in Piniche. In the end, Team Helly Hansen Prunesco of the UK was named the World Champions. Team OrionHealth.com finished strong in 4th place.

Orion Health competitor, Wayne Oxenham said, "It was one of the toughest races I've competed in. Not only was it physically tough but mentally as well. Different rules this year also made for mass confusion and introduced an element of luck to the race outcome. We raced very strongly but finished 4th due to a lack of understanding of the best strategy to win."

From the team at Orion Health we wish you happy holidays and look forward to a prosperous 2010.
