 | Ian McCrae, Chief Executive OfficerIan McCrae founded Orion Health in 1993 with a five-person staff in Auckland, New Zealand. Under his stewardship, the company has seen unprecedented growth and success. With over 200 staff members now operating on four continents, Orion Health has introduced its health integration software to every major market.
Ian is one of 11 members of the New Zealand Government's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Taskforce, formed to identify ways to boost the sector's economic contribution. As an industry visionary, Ian spearheaded the formation of New Zealand's Health IT Cluster, a group of 25 companies collaborating to promote New Zealand's unique software solutions overseas, increase the country's export sales and introduce new jobs to the local market.
Before founding Orion Health, Ian was a senior telecommunications consultant for Clearfield Consulting Ltd., specializing in message standards and connectivity of data network systems and infrastructures. Prior to his work at Clearfield, Ian worked for Ernst & Young designing corporate networks. Ian has also worked as a product manager at Imagineering Micro Distributors in New Zealand and a senior business analyst for the London Stock Exchange.
Ian received a Masters in Engineering Sciences and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from Auckland University in New Zealand. |  | Kimbal Riley, Chief Operating OfficerKimbal Riley is the Chief Operating Officer at Orion Health.
Kimbal has an extensive track record in the software and technology services industries, with executive roles with companies such as Digital Equipment, CSC, Nortel and EDS. He first worked in the Health market in 1993 when project managing the implementation of a full clinical system for a New Zealand HMO. Since that time Kimbal has maintained an intense interest in the innovative use of technology and technology services in Health markets across Asia-Pacific and around the globe. |  | Paul Viskovich, President Orion Health North AmericaPaul Viskovich is responsible for Orion Health's operations in the United States, Canada and Latin America, building trusted relationships with both clients and business partners.
Paul has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry and has held senior sales, marketing and management positions with Fujitsu, Amdahl Corporation, DMR Consulting and Eagle Technology Group within the Asia Pacific Region. Ian Rowe is responsible for managing the Product Integration and Testing (PIT) team. The PIT team provides support to Orion Health's global project teams through the construction of packaged solutions, coordination with technical resources, advanced configuration services and product release testing in customer specific environments.
Ian has over 20 years Project Management and Solution Architecture experience including major roles with the Auckland DHB, Waitemata and Counties Manukau District Health Boards. |  | Charles V Scatchard - President of InternationalAs the President of International, Charles is responsible for the company's business growth across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), India, and North Asia regions and assisting in the company's expansion into Latin America. Having spent over 25 years working in the high technology sector of healthcare and life sciences, Charles also provides key leadership in the future direction of the company.
Charles has a wealth of experience and knowledge from a variety of senior sales, marketing and consulting positions in Digital Equipment, EDS, CSC and IBM. Most recently he was the VP of Healthcare & Life Sciences for EMEA, at Oracle, which he led to become the company’s fastest growing sector.
In addition, Charles has worked with academic medical centres, health insurers, regulators, pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech and, bioinformatics companies, medical device manufacturers, retail pharmacies and pharmacy benefits management companies. In more recent years, Charles has dedicated his career to being involved with the planning, design, implementation and management of health information networks at the leading edge of e-health.
