 | Ian McCrae, Chief Executive OfficerIan McCrae founded Orion Health in 1993 with a five-person staff in Auckland, New Zealand. Under his stewardship, the company has seen unprecedented growth and success. With over 450 staff members now operating on four continents, Orion Health has introduced its health integration software to every major market.
Ian is one of 11 members of the New Zealand Government's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Taskforce, formed to identify ways to boost the sector's economic contribution. As an industry visionary, Ian spearheaded the formation of New Zealand's Health IT Cluster, a group of 25 companies collaborating to promote New Zealand's unique software solutions overseas, increase the country's export sales and introduce new jobs to the local market.
Before founding Orion Health, Ian was a senior telecommunications consultant for Clearfield Consulting Ltd., specializing in message standards and connectivity of data network systems and infrastructures. Prior to his work at Clearfield, Ian worked for Ernst & Young designing corporate networks. Ian has also worked as a product manager at Imagineering Micro Distributors in New Zealand and a senior business analyst for the London Stock Exchange.
Ian received a Masters in Engineering Sciences and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from Auckland University in New Zealand. |  | Kimbal Riley, Chief Operating OfficerKimbal Riley is the Chief Operating Officer at Orion Health.
Kimbal has an extensive track record in the software and technology services industries, with executive roles with companies such as Digital Equipment, CSC, Nortel and EDS. He first worked in the Health market in 1993 when project managing the implementation of a full clinical system for a New Zealand HMO. Since that time Kimbal has maintained an intense interest in the innovative use of technology and technology services in Health markets across Asia-Pacific and around the globe. |  | Paul Viskovich, President Orion Health North AmericaPaul Viskovich started the North American business for Orion in 2002 and is responsible for the strategy and operations for Orion Health in the United States. In this capacity, he is an active member of Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), eHealth Initiative and other organizations promoting the advancement of IT in healthcare. Prior to his North American role, Paul was responsible for global sales and established Orion Health's Australian and European operations. During his tenure, Paul has led a 30-fold increase in Orion Health's business volume. Paul is well known with Orion Health's healthcare provider customers and technology partners for his active involvement in the mutual success of these relationships.
Prior to joining Orion Health, Paul enjoyed more than 20 years in the IT industry across senior sales, marketing and management positions with Fujitsu, Amdahl Corporation, DMR Consulting and Eagle Technology Group within the Asia Pacific Region.
Paul currently resides in the Santa Monica, CA area.
|  | Charles V Scatchard, President of InternationalAs the President of International, Charles is responsible for the company's business growth across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), India, and North Asia regions and assisting in the company's expansion into Latin America. Having spent over 25 years working in the high technology sector of healthcare and life sciences, Charles also provides key leadership in the future direction of the company.
Charles has a wealth of experience and knowledge from a variety of senior sales, marketing and consulting positions in Digital Equipment, EDS, CSC and IBM. Most recently he was the VP of Healthcare & Life Sciences for EMEA, at Oracle, which he led to become the company’s fastest growing sector.
In addition, Charles has worked with academic medical centres, health insurers, regulators, pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech and, bioinformatics companies, medical device manufacturers, retail pharmacies and pharmacy benefits management companies.
In more recent years, Charles has dedicated his career to being involved with the planning, design, implementation and management of health information networks at the leading edge of e-health.
|  | Jay Khan - Senior Vice President, Global ServicesJay Khan holds the position of Senior Vice President, Global Services for Orion Health, based in North America.
Globally Jay is responsible for Professional Services, Client Support Services, SaaS, ISO Compliance, and Process Innovation efforts aimed at helping scale up the company operations for growth and keep accelerating the flow of new ideas from concept through development and into reality.
Jay has nearly 20 years of experience in services, support, and product development, with the majority of this time leading services and support businesses in healthcare IT, diagnostic imaging, and life sciences.
He joined Orion Health from Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, where his most recent role was Senior VP, Services with the headline achievement of delivering a reduction in software deployment times for the Allscripts Enterprise EHR product from an average of 18 months to 3 months.
He spent the previous 15 years with the General Electric Company where he held various management roles leading up to Global General Manager, Services and Support, GE Healthcare Life Sciences.
He is a certified LEAN 6 sigma Master Black Belt, and has expertise in improving client centric processes.
Jay graduated from Cornell University with BS in Electrical Engineering, and MS in Electrical Engineering from Alfred University.
