 | Charles V Scatchard - President of InternationalAs the President of International, Charles is responsible for Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), India, and North Asia regions and will be assisting in the company's expansion into Latin America.
Charles began his career in the UK National Health Service (NHS), as a healthcare economist. With more than 25 years working in the high technology sector of healthcare and life sciences he has held a variety of senior sales, marketing and consulting positions in Digital Equipment, EDS, CSC and IBM. In addition, Charles has worked with academic medical centres, health insurers, regulators, pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech and bioinformatics companies, medical device manufacturers, retail pharmacies and pharmacy benefits management companies.
In more recent years, Charles has dedicated his career to being involved with the planning, design, implementation and management of health information networks at the leading edge of e-health. An example of such a system is the National e-Health Information Network (NEHIN) in Massachusetts, US, formed in partnership with Partners Healthcare and several world-leading healthcare institutions. This system created an extranet for eligibility, referrals, authorisations and claims for every major provider and payer in the state in the wake of the Health Insurance and Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) reforms. This has become one of the major models for the US National Health Information Network (NHIN) program. |  | Mark Capill - Director Strategic Alliances, EMEAMark is responsible for overseeing the development and management of key strategic partner relationships and alliances of Orion Health in Europe and the Middle East.
Before joining the Orion Health team in 1998, Mark worked in corporate finance for seven years with a further three years experience in corporate workout / insolvency. Prior to that, he held various roles in trade finance and data processing. |  | Simon Philpott - Sales Director UK & IrelandSimon is responsible for developing Orion Health's business in the UK & Ireland. Simon has more than 20 years experience in IT, including 10 years in professional services holding roles in Implementation, Project Management and as Operations Director. For the last 10 years Simon has worked in sales and marketing, primarily in healthcare, with extensive experience selling solutions and technology to the NHS and the private sector in both UK and Ireland. |  | Paul Vullinghs - Sales Director, Spain and PortugalPaul Vullinghs joined Orion Health in September 2007, and is responsible for business growth in Spain and Portugal. Prior to joining Orion Health, Paul was Partner Manager for Accenture Healthcare in EMEA with a prime focus on Electronic Health Records. Paul brings 14 years of commercial experience to Orion Health, primarily in the field of Health & Life Sciences, working for a variety of companies in Europe and Latin America. |  | Ed Percy - Business Development Manager, Europe, Middle East and AfricaEd is Orion Health's Business Development Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Ed has been active across this large territory for over 5 years, and has been involved in many innovative deliveries of Orion Health’s technology. Prior to joining Orion Health, Ed was a senior consultant with Rational Software. |  | Pierre Leducq - Directeur Général, FrancePierre joined Orion Health in 2009 as Sales Director for Orion Health's business development operations in France and Belgium. Along with a solid background in sales and market development, Pierre has over 20 years of experience in healthcare integration technology. In 1989, he joined InterSystems and quickly became Sales Director for Southern Europe.
In 1997, Pierre began focusing on the Asia Pacific region and established a distribution network covering multiple countries throughout Asia. Over the same time period, Pierre opened additional offices for InterSystems, including new operations in France and Korea. Prior to joining InterSystems, Pierre was Export Manager for Copernique, a database-oriented hardware manufacturer in Paris. Pierre received his international MBA from ISG in France and has an undergraduate degree in electronics from ISEN. |
