Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) is a publicly funded health management organisation covering a population of 400,000 people in the Auckland region. CMDHB operates Middlemore Hospital and KidzFirst Pediatric Hospital, which together provide 800 beds and constitute one of the busiest acute and emergency facilities in the Southern Hemisphere. CMDHB employs nearly 4,500 staff.
